This Privacy Policy describes how this application (“App”) handles information when you interact with it via Instagram Messaging.

What This App Does

This App connects to Instagram via the Meta Platform API to:

  • Read incoming messages sent to the connected Instagram account
  • Automatically reply to messages containing photos, screenshots, or posts with a relevant link
  • Send messages on behalf of the account owner

Information We Access

When you send a message to an Instagram account using this App, we may access:

  • Your Instagram username and user ID
  • The content of messages you send (including images and media)
  • Message metadata (timestamps, message IDs)

We do not access your email address, phone number, password, or any data beyond what is necessary to process and reply to your message.

How We Process Your Data

Messages are processed in real time to generate automated replies. Processing involves the following third-party services:

  • n8n — workflow automation platform used to route and process messages
  • Anthropic Claude API — AI service optionally used to generate reply content

Message content transiently passes through these services solely to produce a reply. We do not intentionally store message content in a persistent database. However, third-party services may retain transient logs in accordance with their own privacy policies:

Data Retention

We do not store your messages or personal information beyond what is required to deliver an automated reply. Any transient processing data is discarded after the reply is sent.

Meta Platform Data

This App complies with Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We do not sell, transfer, or use Instagram user data for advertising or any purpose outside of providing automated replies.

Your Rights

You can stop interacting with this App at any time by ceasing to message the connected Instagram account. You may also contact us to request information about any data associated with your account.
